The WicksPercent indicator shows to the user when the wick of a trading bar is a certain percentage of the body of the bar. The intention is to pick up when price is very “whippy” inside of a bar. There are times of extreme volatility when a trader may choose to wait or skip a trade because of the extremes price reaches inside of a bar. If a bar body is relatively short with long wicks, that could be characterized as a highly volatile bar and help the trader make a decision if this is a good time or not a good time to enter a particular trade.

Signal color greater = over the threshold

Signal color less = under the threshold
